King Koopa
So, for about half of 2014 I worked a full time job at Nintendo of America as a supervisor for the call center.
It drove me slowly insane.
During that time, I was EXTREMELY overexposed to Nintendo products and media at a constant, and as a result was constantly doodling Mario characters and whatnot... I always liked the design from the cartoon, so here's my take on it!

I thought about drawing Skugg but since they’re more a mascot than anything else, I figured it’d be fun to do a more literal representation of a kaiju-me. Whiiich is basically just pink sparkle godzilla let’s be real.

Something dumb and silly of Squeedge and Prat’s dragon girl Gabby being ROWDY FUNHAVERS, probably about to crash some party. Like, literally crash it. Violently dive through the roof, crushing everyone inside, no survivors.

This is what I originally sketched up for the #tumblrkaiju meme before deciding to do a more literal representation of myself, but decided to finish this anyway because there can never be enough stompy Squeedges.
Also rendering practice! Really digging the combination of cel shading and subtle painterly elements lately.

Opulent Rose
A very FANCE Gabby for PRASTSHACKER <3
This was meant to be their actual birthday present, I just took a minute to finish it up due to... well, prawst visiting. I reALly adore this character and will p much find any excuse to draw her. Love_that_gab_.
Tried some different techniques with this? A lot of the rendering amounted to "happy accidents," and noodling around for far too long, but in the end I'm fond of the ethereal, almost prismatic effect.

Been playing a lot of Undertale lately. Wanted to draw something motivational for myself based on it, as the game's been lifting my spirits during a rough patch. Based the colors off of Waterfall, the palettes/environment of that area are sooo nice.
